The United States: 20/2 Personal Year
On July 4, 2016, the United States entered its 20/2 Personal Year. In the 9 Universal Year* that is 2016, this number holds even more significance. This Universal Year is a year of endings and turning points. As a nation, the decisions we make and actions that we take, are going to have a major impact on where we go as a country moving forward. Wrong turns and wrong behavior will only serve to amplify, magnify and exacerbate the many problems that face our nation and we could see things worsen in ways that may be hard to comprehend as I write this. The other side of that equation is that things can improve if the decisions that are made and actions that are taken are things that include everyone and truly serve to improve the conditions of the common good.
And, that is why the characteristics and identifying factors of the America's 20/2 Personal Year become even more important. Being a year of turning points, decisions, awareness, adaptability, and reconstruction, the driving and dominant forces should be ones of harmony and co-operation.
During the course of this 20/2 Personal Year, the United States must begin giving serious thought to our current situations and then using that information to help us create plans for moving forward. This is a year that has great potential to be transitional in the realm of seeing both sides of all situations and then finding the ways in which we can work together to resolve our problems and differences. By weighing all the facts and details we will be better equipped to bring about a consciousness that is inclusive of a new awareness. An awareness that will help overcome difficulties. Harmony is a key word in this dynamic and it is imperative that we come together as a nation in bringing it about. We should all be working for the common good of bigger and better things that promote harmonious relationships between people. During this transitional, and possibly trans-formative year, we must be decisive in our thoughts and actions and we must follow through on those decisions. If we do not do so, we run the risk of increased restlessness and uneasiness.
Another aspect of this 20/2 Year is the possibility of sudden events that will require turning point decisions. We must heed the events that are dramatic and/or traumatic in nature for these will be the times that afford us the greatest opportunities to bring about positive and long-term changes in our country and society. This year is a time that requires new thoughts, feelings and actions. We must train ourselves to see and be aware of the alternatives while considering the pros and cons of various situations. As a nation we will be afforded the chance to learn about ourselves as a nation and how adaptable we are, or can be. With the underlying 2 energy of the year, this is a time when a stronger female energy may take center stage, not to replace the dominant male energy, but to show us that what is required is a symbiotic relationship between the male and the female in order to create a more balanced, compassionate and tolerant environment that will enable us to move forward towards a new and more all-encompassing paradigm.
The period of time from July 4, 2016 until July 3, 2017 has great potential to be a period of growth for our nation. The seeds of our future are germinating and looking to take root so the country must all learn to use the energies of the period wisely. This is a time for fine-tuning the plans to bring cohesiveness and unity back to the forefront of our political and societal dialogues. We should not resist the need for change. Instead, we must become more adaptable and re-introduce common sense into our thoughts and actions. During the course of this year we may be afforded many opportunities for increased spiritual insights and and overall enlightenment. The 20/2 Personal Year is a time for revelations and a spiritual awakening that assists us in bringing forth new plans, purposes and ambitions. In Numerology, the 2 also represents duality, the male/female, yin/yang energy of life. The time is ripe for us to bring about greater balance in all that we do and to insure that everyone is included while we work to eliminate the inequalities and inequities of our current situation.
On the global stage, the United States must become a more active mediator and go-between in helping to resolve the problems that beset every corner of the globe. Again, harmony is a key word and a useful dynamic in solving the problems. It is incumbent upon us as a nation to work towards bringing about greater co-operation between nations. We need to diligently work for the goal of fostering peace proposals and peace treaties wherever, and whenever possible. This energy of the 20/2 Personal Year is conducive for creating multiple collaborations of ideas in both politics and industry. This is a time during which we should strengthen friendships while working with others and not going it alone. Each and every one of us need to work for the common good of bigger things that have their roots in harmonious relationships between people.
The negative side of the 20/2 energy engenders apathy and indifference by our leaders in both politics and industry. If not properly exercised the negative 2 will bring about vacillation over important decisions that will impact us all. We must also be aware of the potential for making careless and costly mistakes in politics and industry. In other words, should we not find a way to correct our course, we will be relegated to an increased exacerbation of our current ills and, in this author's opinion, this will only bring about greater divisions and unrest. All of which will lead to greater upset and the great potential of increasing schisms in the realm of race and religion.
The 20/2 Personal Year for the United States comes with a 2 Challenge for the year. The 2 Challenge is the Challenge of co-operation and sensitivity. As a nation we must work to develop and enhance the qualities of courtesy, consideration and patience. We must learn to deal with, and have extensive dialogue around the topics of hurt feelings, jealousy, xenophobia, bigotry and the fear of those people who may be 'different' from us, while also learning to handle the situations that can be caused by the lack of patience and tolerance. It is these very conditions that must be handled that will continue to stifle any positive interactions and movements in these areas. Tact and diplomacy must be learned while we also learn to be thoughtful, obedient, devoted, and generous. As a nation of individuals, we must each learn to be ourselves while in the company of others and simultaneously allowing others the same latitude. We must all beware of a tendency to become a 'doormat' for others, brought on by our inability or unwillingness to speak up for ourselves. And, speaking up for ourselves means that everyone's voice has equal weight and bearing in the conversations.
During the period of time that covers our election in November, the Challenge is a 5. This is the Challenge of learning the value and meaning of freedom and balance. This Challenge cautions against the abuse of freedom and urges the country to learn to use freedom correctly. Adjustment and change are two key words, and has been evidenced many times over the past few decades, the country seems to possess a fear of change. The world is changing. Our country is changing, and this election will be extremely important in determining whether we will move forward into a new future, or recklessly hold onto a past that has exceeded its 'use by' date. Opportunities for change will be presented and if refused, the associated circumstances will become more and more dramatic and frequently lead to situations where there will be no choice in the matter…. changes will have to be made. The key here is to develop the element of curiosity and learn to explore outside the artificial parameters that have been set. We must learn to adjust to change easily and discard what is not useful in life. The 5 Challenge will also indicate restrictions on freedom. BALANCE and FOCUS are key words with the 5 challenge.
Blessings of love and light!
