A NUMEROLOGICAL PERSPECTIVE LOOKING BACK
Republicans and pundits were shocked that Willard Mitt Romney lost the election on November 6, 2012. As a Numerologist, I forecast in 2010 that he would lose and I reiterated my belief the day before the election.
Outside of the political and social reasons for his loss, there were a couple of things in the charts of both Romney and President Obama that were the reason for my forecast of an Obama win.
November 6, 2012 was a 22/4 Universal Day, a day of building for the future and creating the foundation for something long-lasting and beneficial to all. It would not necessarily be a day for success in activities in which the individual puts himself first, before the needs of the masses. This was also a day in which the groundwork should be laid with the plans rooted in practicality while being well organized. Under the influence of the 22/4, it is important to guard against extremes and again, use practicality in all that is put forth. On November 6, the United States had a 6 Personal Day, a day for taking responsibility and working towards the betterment and security of all.
For the winner, President Obama is in an 8 Personal Year, a year of accomplishment, recognition and advancement. In an 8 Personal Year, an individual truly reaps the rewards of the seeds that were planted in their 1 Personal Year (for President Obama, that would have been 2005, his first year as a US Senator). It is most likely that in 2005, President Obama already had an idea about his run for the presidency in 2008 and he began then, the process of making the contacts and connections necessary. When first elected in 2008, he was in a 4 Personal Year a year to work hard, get organized and facilitate the foundation and plans for the continued implementation of his plans. The 8 Year is a power year and a year of rewards and payment for the efforts put forth in the previous seven years. It is a year that presents many opportunities for growth and improvement and may be a year of great forward progress. The tests presented during an 8 Year are mitigated by strength, organization and efficiency which were all qualities of his campaign, and the President, personally. An 8 Year is also a year of increased activity, expansion, planning, and thinking and acting upon the plans put forth. This year holds great promise for prosperity and success and making contacts beneficial to the implementation of plans. 2012 would have also been a year to use what he has learned to further his political plans and ambitions.
At the time of the election, President Obama was under the influence of a 13/4 Essence (the Essence is determined by the spelling of the name and is a year-by-year breakdown of the life based upon that spelling). The Essence number is an indicator of the experiences of life showing the highlights, the turning points and the 'why' of things. Also, the opportunities in life. The 13/4 Essence for President Obama shows change, release and transformation. The year will bring about changes and occurrences which do away with conditions and situations that serve no useful purpose (in this instance, I would anticipate a greater move to govern and breach the divide that currently exists in government). Old ideas must be done away with in order to make way for new ideas, plans and directions. Reconstruction is a key word during a 13/4 Essence and there are great opportunities for the President to be an influential element in fostering change within the establishment. From his birthday in 2011 up until his birthday in 2012, Obama was under the influence of a 10/1 Essence. The 10/1 indicates fortune, luck and a turn for the better. It is an energy that may manifest something for which one has been waiting. The culmination of events will bring about the desired results and/or success. Rewards may be offered up and received as a result of long, hard work. The 10/1 is a fortunate time to begin new projects and for obtaining the desire results of said projects. The underlying 1 shows forward movement towards improvement and a change in the affairs of life calling for new initiative, leadership and executive action. It also indicates a new beginning, even in old endeavors.
The 13/4 Essence is comprised of the letters C, I, and A (the letters of the Essence represent the conditions and circumstances which demand attention and shape the personal efforts). Amongst other things, the C represents self-confidence, self-will and a determination to pursue personal interests to overcome the opinions of others. This also indicates an optimistic period.
The I in the Essence shows opportunities to attract protection (especially financial). Possessing the ability to understand the needs of people opens the way to success. Consistent effort can bring about an element of luck and the attainment of desires. Always present is the ability and power to attract the necessary help and influence for obtaining one's goals. Acting with love, tolerance and compassion will assist in the efforts put forth and the goals attained. This is also a time of receiving and giving influence.
The final letter of the Essence, A represents new opportunities and contacts. Action and forward movement are elements of success.
In the case of Willard Mitt Romney, he is in an 11/2 Personal Year. The 11 represents being receptive to ideas and inspirations. As a Master Number it demands a universal approach to things and cautions against being self-serving. The underlying 2 represents being receptive and willing to tolerate and work with others. Sharing and cooperation are important attributes which must be exercised while working to see and understand both sides in all situations. The 2 can also represent the qualities of the law of attraction thus one needs to be extremely careful of the vibration and energy that is put forth. The 2 may also require some waiting and cautions that trying too hard will not bring about the desired results.
For Mr. Romney, his Essence for the current year is an 11/2, also. This shows that there were 3 Master Number energies at play on Election Day. Again, an 11 Master Number is the intuitive and inspirational leader. One of the demands of the 11 is that it works towards enlightening and teaching those with whom it comes in contact. More importantly, all Master Numbers demand that energies are directed outward for the good of all. It is this author's impression that Mitt Romney was more interested in being President as opposed to being the leader of everyone. This impression is reinforced by the fact that Romney only has one-1 in the spelling of his name, indicating that his sense of self is not as strongly defined as it could be. Looking to be the boss or the president, to a degree, is his way of compensating for his lessened sense of self. In other words, it was more about him, than others. It would also explain the constant shifting of his positions on issues. In order to be liked, he consistently changed his dialogue to appeal to whatever group he may have been addressing. Master Numbers can be quite beneficial and powerful yet if they are not manifested at their highest vibration, they revert to the worst conditions of the underlying single digit (in this case the 2). The 11 reduced to the 2 creates a 'doormat' type of energy in which one is taken advantage of, or walked over not allowing the individual to be their true self.
The 11/2 Essence can be a learning period during which a crisis may erupt or a sudden break in associations will spring forth. These situations will create quite a shock to the emotions. Disruptions may also come about creating a period that is very disturbing, consequently causing delays, misunderstandings, separations, and loss. Unless Romney was willing to cooperate and share (think of his positions, plans and tax returns) he was set to be in a subordinate position. The 11 would certainly show a time in the spotlight while also being a time that is challenging and brings about a series of tests. The underlying 2 represents a period of growth, but patience and tolerance must be exhibited. This is a better time for partnerships than leadership.
Romney 11/2 Essence is comprised by the letters D, T, and E. The D indicates a practical period involving the handling of the responsibilities at hand. Many things may be exposed that must be dealt with and there may be problems, surprises and overlooked details that must also be handled.
The T does indicate progress and money to be made although partnerships and associations may bring about problems and/or advantages. It would be imperative that Romney chose his associations very carefully for that reason. Outside interferences may also bring about problems and difficulties (think about the appearance in the republican party of people with extreme ideas). The T also indicates there are many lessons to be learned about others, and more importantly, self.
The final letter of Romney's Essence is an E, which represents experience, progress, activity and forward movement. This could be a time of new endeavors and it is conceivable that post-election, he will find something new in which to channel his energies. There are conditions that may bring about unexpected problems, especially situations in which haste and impulsiveness are exhibited. Again, activities are better directed towards the good of the people.
In closing, while there are conditions that exist in both President Obama's chart and Mitt Romney's chart, the favoring for a win in the election was slightly in the President's column. As I wrote in a previous paragraph, it was important for Romney to portray a more magnanimous and all-encompassing attitude to the electorate. The preponderance of Master Number energy is his chart demanded that he not be self-serving in his pursuit. In my opinion, far too frequently he came across as someone who felt as though he was entitled to become president, not because he might be able to do a good job, but because he should be. Consequently, he didn't connect with the majority of the people he needed to win. On the other hand, President Obama was able to channel the energy to appropriately manifest that which was indicated. I believe he will prove to be a more than capable leader in his second term.
