                                2022– A Universal 6 Year
                         Service. Family. Community. Responsibility.

Numerology is an ancient esoteric science that dates back to the time of Pythagoras in ancient Greece, more than 2500 years ago, and in all probability, much further back in time than that. It is a divination and guidance tool that uses the numbers 1-9 and the alphabet to determine things. Universal Years represent the calendar year and are determined by adding the 4 digits of the year (2+0+2+2=6).

As we leave 2021 and its 5 Universal energy in our rear view mirror, I believe that the word,
'Koyaanisqatsi' as referenced in the 1982 documentary 'Koyaanisqatsi: Life Out of Balance', is an apt description of our world as we leave 2021 and prepare to enter into 2022.

2022, a Universal 6 Year should be a year that includes an improvement of conditions in the economy, healthcare and medicine, and in relationships between countries and their citizens. The SIX influence should create an increased harmony in opposing points of view and if the awareness on the part of the powers that be is in tune, there should be a lessening of the extreme divisions and partisan attitudes that infect governments and nations. This is definitely a year for adjustments, re-assessments and working together in a responsible fashion. Responsibilities must be met and we must find a way to return to being a country and a world in which the welfare and well-being of each and every citizen is respected and honored. This would go a long way towards correcting our failure to create balance during 2021 (a 5 Universal Year). Other elements that are particular to the SIX energy and, paramount to possible improvements are in the realm of education, communities, organizations, and responsibilities and service to others. The indications also lean towards the possibility of more co-operation in governments and legislatures. On the world stage, more effort will be directed towards solving problems internationally. Worldwide this will be a year of increasing social movements coupled with a rise in social conscience. If conditions do not improve in a fair and equitable fashion, we may see the rise of radicalism in the public discourse. (It may be prudent to keep an eye on many countries throughout the world as continuing shifts in their societies may result in a greater demand for the people to have a greater voice in matters that directly affect them and, as a result, more conflict with their governments. The United States is not immune from this. In fact, in this author's opinion, we may very well be one of the first countries to have massive internal conflicts.)

The SIX year also indicates a stronger emphasis and focus on marriage, home, family and community and this may well be the year when the issue of true equality for women and minorities is once and for all settled (if not settled, as least set on a positive and forward-looking track), as society becomes more aware that equal rights for all means just that...equal rights! The longer these battles continue, the more fractured we will become and the more disenfranchised people will become. We, the people should also be pushing for movement towards correcting many of the existing injustices judicially and through the law, with the intent of improving conditions on all levels of society. Another area worthy of inspection and progress would be a greater focus on the elderly. Could this be the year that an improved Medicare is approved? Recognizing and honoring the importance of family in all our lives must also be given great consideration. This applies to not only your family of origin and immediate family but also to the “families” that consist of neighborhoods, communities, states, and nations and perhaps, most importantly, the “family of man” of which we are all members.

As consciousness rises, the energies will be more directed to the elements of love, understanding, the consideration of others, and the realization that we all hold responsibilities for everyone. 2022 has great potential for people to step up and take responsibility for the seeds which were planted in the ONE Universal Year (2017). A Universal Mind awareness will lend itself to ideals being raised and people gaining greater understanding of our inter-connectedness. Many of the changes begun in the FIVE Universal Year (2021) will take root as the responsibilities we all hold for our collective well-being are realized which will lead to a greater sense of well-being. My wish is that the changes that do take root are those of a positive and affirming nature. 2022 is the year during which the housing market may finally begin to improve in a positive, growth-oriented fashion.

As with all years, the SIX vibration of 2022 also holds negative attributes and great caution is urged here as we could easily see the worst scenarios come to be. Sadly, and first and foremost, war could also be on the horizon. In history, World War I was begun in 1914 (a Universal 6 Year) and in 1941 (a Universal 6 Year) the United States entered World War II. 1950 saw the Korean War begin. In 1968, another SIX Universal Year, saw the assassination of two leading figures in politics and social movements in the United States and the resulting social unrest was unlike anything ever seen in this country. A check of history shows that every 6 Universal Year going back to 1905, and beyond, has had more than its share of conflicts, local, regional, and globally. And, it was especially true during the 20th Century. That's not to say that war only begin in a 6 Universal Year, I am just pointing out that in the past century alone, conflicts that have involved the United States, have been concentrated in a 6 Year.

Referencing what I wrote in an earlier paragraph about possibilities.”...indications also lean towards the possibility of more co-operation in governments and legislatures. On the world stage, more effort will be directed towards solving problems internationally”, there is a codicil that must be given consideration. The negative side of the 6 energy is a tendency towards obstinance, stubbornness, and a propensity to dig one's heels in on any given subject. That type of positioning by either side in a disagreement leads only to a prolonging of the discussion with the very real possibility that nothing will be agreed upon and nothing will be settled. That does not bode well for anything in the realm of politics anywhere in the world but, most definitely, in the United States. These are the very circumstances for which we need to view our country's own history. Keep in mind that during 1860 (a 6 Universal Year), nullification took places in the states. The following year, 1861 (a Universal 7 Year), the Civil War began as a result. During 2021 (a 5 Universal Year), the Supreme Court allowed a state to effectively nullify a Federal law. And, there is an ongoing and aggressive push to nullify voting rights for millions of Americans of color and ethnicity. We should all collectively do our parts to prevent the further erosion of the foundations of this country. The result of not taking action may be worse than anything we might imagine. To quote Mark Twain, “History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes.”

What could 2022 bring? With 2022 containing 3-2s, we could encounter an amplified environment demanding that both sides are understood and considered and not, at the expense of either side. We must all work to collectively emanate the vibrations of peace, co-operation and understanding with regards to human rights, equality and dignity. 2022 may also see a rise in cynicism coupled with an amplified increase in the conservative movement and dialogue. Once again, it is imperative that the entire collective is taken into consideration in the context of legislation and policies. Social upheavals may be the result of policies that are not all-inclusive with situations such as those that appeared in 1968 beginning to emerge (again!). We were perhaps presented with a glimpse into what is in store when we witnessed the social unrest during 2021 after the murder of George Floyd. Without positive action to overcome great inequities in society, poverty may become a greater issue. Other potential issues that may arise will be an increase in health problems, epidemics, hunger and homelessness. While not entirely a negative, conditions may exist that lead to the exposure of more widespread political dishonesty and chicanery. Doubt, mistrust, and hypocrisy will create a rise in political and geopolitical frictions which may lead to civil wars, social uprisings, or political coups. Steps that were not taken in 2021 to correct the situation(s) in existence, may very well lead to increasing problems in many areas of our country and economy. With the influence of the Six being paramount, much of those problems will revolve around how, as a country and a society, we take responsibility for not only ourselves but others, also. A lack of responsibility on the part of political leaders could lead to a inability to fulfill social and financial commitments further exacerbating the schisms between governments and their citizens. The SIX energy may also lead to stubborn opposition to change and improvements as different factions become more intractable in their positions.

In closing, much of what transpires in 2022 will be determined by the changes that manifested in 2021 and by the willingness of all parties to work towards a more harmonious, responsible and loving world. You, the reader can do you part through the exercising and exhibition of such traits.

One more thing: When I wrote my forecast for 2016 (a Universal 9 Year) I said that issues that needed to be handled, dismissed, and/or ended must be taken care of throughout the course of the year. It is part of the essence of the 9 that covers endings, as 9 is the last number in the series of 1-9. One certainty in Numerology is that a 9 Year is a time to rid oneself of things, people, situations, and more that no longer serve your highest good. Obviously, the same would apply to nations. Sadly, in 2016 we did not do that, in fact we actually took a few steps backwards. And, in the ways of the 9, that which should have been discarded or ended and was not, will be brought forward into the next nine-year cycle and those very conditions will only exacerbate. If not handled and solved as the cycle progresses, those same things will continue to become bigger problems. Here we are as we enter 2022 and from my perspective, things don't seem to be improving. Yes, certainly there are aspects of life that are improving but, overall, I see a deterioration in the human condition and in the ways we treat one another. We must collectively and individually find our way to making changes and working together to make this a better country and, a better world. With the 6 being the overarching Universal vibration this year, let's all do what we can to live up to the responsibilities that are associated with the number. As always, the power lies with the people. Let's make certain that power does not continue to be eroded.

Blessing of Love & Light.
Happy New Year!

                                2021 – A 5-Universal Year

“Change is gonna come.” - Sam Cooke

The headline for my 2020, a 4 Universal Year forecast was: “RECONSTRUCTION AND BUILDING A STRONG FOUNDATION OR, DESTRUCTION AND CHAOS.” We received a great deal of the latter and not much of the former and, as we move into 2021, therein lies the rub. That very situation will create a great many problems because the 5 Year is the middle year of any 9-year cycle. It is a fulcrum year. A year in which balance is necessary as a means to create the positive modifications that are required during what is a year of change. It is a year for which a strong, organized, and stable foundation is necessary. For it is only on a strong foundation that changes can take hold, knowing that there is a structure that is holding things together, thus enabling the changes to take root, prosper and, progress. In the realm of numerology, 2021 is a FIVE Universal year. A FIVE year is a year of change, transformation, transitions, and movement. It is also a representation of the human condition (the 5 senses). With that in mind, 2021 portends a culmination of the changes that have been sweeping the planet over the past few years beginning in 2016 (a 9 Universal Year, a year of endings). Because in 2016 we did not rid ourselves of those things that did not serve the greater good and, for the past four years we have been dealing with the result of the lack of action on that front, coupled with a constant stream of chaotic and misguided behavior, what has resulted is the exacerbation of all the conditions and situations that have burdened this country (and others) for many years. This year has the potential to finally place humankind on a new and more beneficial (to all) course although I doubt that the path will be easy. One of the conditions that must exist so that the energy of the 5 can work well is that the previous year, a Universal 4, was used to build and maintain a solid foundation and structure for moving forward. As we are all aware, 2020 was anything but that. It was a year of chaos and upset, that included a viral pandemic that completely upended all aspects of life throughout the world. It is that fact that makes me believe that although we may see some improvement in 2021, we may be in for a long and difficult haul before we get to a place of “normal” and that “normal” will be a new type of normal, that is, new in the sense when it is compared to that with which we are familiar and comfortable. Because the 5 represents the human condition and the five senses, it is this aspect that makes me believe that the virus will continue to be with us as a part of life for some time to come. I believe that there are great lessons that have not been taught and learned and, that are long overdue from being integrated into our lives. Many of these lessons concern the way we treat our physical bodies and, our physical home. It is something to which we must adjust as we continue to deal with the effects on the physical, mental, and emotional parts of our beings. One of the conditions that was highlighted during 2020 due to the pandemic was that everyone had to slow down. Consumption slowed. Damage to our environment was given a respite. It is one part of the structure represented by the 4 that was a necessary addition to our lives...learning to take time for ourselves. Taking time to be appreciative of what we have and becoming less concerned with obtaining more. Taking time to honor ourselves and, by so doing, learning to honor others. All of these things were structural changes in society and, given the opportunity to be nourished and encouraged, can have great long-term effect on everyone. Humans have done all that we can to assert our superiority over others and, more importantly, over our planet. In doing so we have wreaked havoc and created problems worldwide. I believe the Earth is a living, breathing entity and has had just about enough of our shit. Since we don't particularly listen to, or pay attention to the signals that the planet sends us, I believe she is responding in a way that gets our attention. And that way was to give us a worldwide health situation that is forcing us to realize how closely interconnected we all are and, more importantly, that what affects one, affects all. The pandemic has highlighted the many areas of society and government in which we fail to adequately care for our citizens while shining a bright light on those areas in which we fall woefully short in insuring that every person can live a fair and equitable life. We have been tragically reminded during 2020 of how much work remains when it comes to race relations, racism, hunger, housing, education, law enforcement in need of reform and, the lack of adequate health care resources so that every man, woman and, child can receive the medical care and treatment they deserve as well as a standard of living worthy of any human being.

As with all years, there are positive and negative aspects that must be considered.

Please keep in the mind that any and all of the situations and conditions that follow are certainly possible. My concern is that the lack of the underlying structure and organization may be too tenuous for anything to take a strong hold in whatever area it may be a part of or, that the lack of structure will embolden and encourage some to engage in and promote unrest and conflict. Much will depend on the strength and capability of those in the positions of authority who hold the power to affect anything and everything that happens. Or, doesn't. One of the positive aspects of a FIVE Universal year indicates an increase in the activity surrounding commerce and trade, with an improvement in the overall economic conditions globally. This may be the year when the world financial picture shows some sustained growth with a healthier outlook and, a new perspective, although I believe that true improvement will not occur until 2022 (a Universal 6 Year). This, of course, will be directly effected by the groundwork and foundation that was laid in 2020 (a Universal 4 Year) and, because we fell short on so many levels, this process may take longer than we would like. It is also incumbent upon us to demand and help create the changes that are required. From a numerological perspective, it is ironic that we are looking to the FIVE to bring order to the chaos that was borne out of a wasted and misguided FOUR year. Under normal circumstances, we would be firmly rooted in a foundation that could support and withstand any upcoming changes.

More important in the context of the FIVE year will be conditions and situations concerning the human condition. 2021 should see a great increase in the interest in metaphysics and psychology...a more intense and far-reaching desire to more fully understand our existence here on Earth. In Numerology, FIVE is an indication of the human experience and the FIVE senses, and it is within this context where a greater focus will be aimed. People will be drawn to better educating themselves in new and different subjects, while simultaneously intensifying their knowledge of the “whys” of their lives. There will be a development in new attitudes and beliefs, and a rejuvenation of the human spirit. A rise in the condition of the “one” will be seen as a natural baseline for the rising up of all of mankind. Individuals will look to not only gain deeper insight and understanding into their personal existence, they will also be more in-tune with their part in the bigger picture...”what part do I play in the whole?” People will be much more aware of the effects that their individual efforts have on the collective. We may see an increase in heroic actions that lift us all to a better place. This may all be coupled with new and (in the context of the times) radical views on the way we live and co-exist with one another and our planet. The FIVE Universal year brings about expansion in many realms of living. There will be an undercurrent of change and transition that will affect societies and the way things are handled (think back to the social changes of 1967). People will more fully understand the importance of being versatile and of possessing the innate ability to foster the changes necessary to improve the “race consciousness” as it pertains to living in concert with the planet on which we reside. The influence of the 5, and its association with the concept of law and order, may impel action in the realm of law enforcement and policing practices in general while changes also come about in the area of jurisprudence.

Improvements in many aspects of living and commerce may be brought about. New ideas and thought patterns that more keenly connect us to our sense of spirit and our thoughts about oneness may spring up in all segments, cultures, and countries around the globe. In the United States, 2021 may bring about a change in our elections and electoral processes. This may very well be the year when a new, third party arises from the political landscape as people desire, and clamor for a change in the system and the way things are done. It is important to remember that CHANGE and BALANCE are two key words associated with the 5 energy and it is obvious to this author that change is necessary and things most definitely must be brought into balance for the good of everyone.

On the negative side of the 5 Universal year, there may be an increase in international nervousness, as reactions to the impending changes are met with fear and a show of force. One of the other conditions the 5 represents are the tenets of law and order. While people will be seeking justice, the powers that be may react by using new, and more restrictive laws to hold onto their place of power. As the old way of doing things falls away, we may experience great opposition to the new, more radical (relatively speaking) thoughts and beliefs that will permeate the mindset of people. Political assassinations may take place, as people looking to foster change, but who are working out of anger and fear, may feel it necessary to make an urgent and dramatic statement. Another caution to be heeded is that we individually and collectively guard against all forms of self-indulgent and over-indulgent behaviors. Excesses in all aspects and areas of life must be tempered for the good of all.

One of the major and overarching conditions of the number 5 is BALANCE. It is of the utmost importance, that everyone seeks, and discovers, their own personal middle ground. One must understand, and take responsibility for their actions while giving thought to the effect their actions may have on the overall picture. If a positive outlook and belief system can take root, we will all get to experience a better life and existence. In many ways, this will be a time of rebirth...rebirth of balance, harmony, joy, compassion, consideration and love. Collectively we must look to create balance and progress while incorporating changes that are most definitely for the greater good. To quote the late, great Sam Cooke, “...change is gonna come” a concept reinforced by Bob Dylan when he sang, “...the time's they are a-changing”.

Do your part to bring about and foster change in your homes, communities, governments and, nations. Most importantly, do what you can to bring about change in your personal lives that can assist in creating the necessary changes and energy that will ripple out and affect the common and, more importantly, the greater good. It is this author's prayer that you gain the understanding and insight necessary so you can do your part and participate in these changes, and that you may get to enjoy that which lies before you.

2020 is the 4th year in the current Universal nine-year cycle which began in 2017. As with all years, there are positive and negative aspects, and it is my belief, considering the current worldwide situation that once again, there may be extremes on both sides. Much will be determined by the actions and activities of the year that ends on December 31, 2019 (a THREE Universal year). The 20th Century brought us a series of 22/4 Universal Years from 1939-1993. These were years filled with vision, change, progress and, so many things that changed dynamics worldwide across the board. During the 22/4 Years we created and experienced a great many things that changed the world as we knew it. All the other 4 Universal Years in the 20th Century were 13/4s. A 13/4 Year carries with it a strong element of karma especially in the realm of changes and transitions, life and death, although not necessarily actual physical death, the passing of the old making way for the new. The choices that are made in a 13/4 Year can carry great influence on the world in which we live. After this brief series of 4 Universal Years that were 2002, 2011, and 2020 in 2029, the 4 Universal Years will once again be under the influence of the 13/4. We can anticipate during 2020 a trend that takes us back to the basics, with a focus on actually doing the work of truly building for the future. 2020 includes two zeroes. In my work, the 0, while not considered a number in Numerology, shows transition on the level of the preceding number. In this case, that number is 2 and it happens twice which will magnify and amplify the lessons that will appear. This year will provide an ongoing series of events and circumstances that will require co-operation of all sides in finding resolutions, solutions and, answers. This is a major year for growth on this level. We must all take the time to examine, study and, understand opposing points of view so that we may better work together on coming together, to work on what must be done. This year brings with it a need to define and, bring order to things.

On the positive side, 2020 can be a year of concrete action directed towards creating and building a more stable world for the future. Some of the stronger aspects of the FOUR represent structure, foundations, and organization. This year has potential to be a ground-breaking year in the re-creation of a world that accommodates and cares for everyone. When one considers the breakdown of systems and establishments in the preceding three years (beginning in 2017), it can be understood how these systems must be rebuilt, and how they must be reconstructed to benefit the many, and not the few. The seeds that were sown in 2017 will take on clearer form in the world. This should be a year of slow and careful building resulting in permanent and useful conditions that benefit the greater good and not just the few. The 4 demands organization and structure in the construction of a strong foundation for all things and all people. These demands come with a responsibility to enact things properly. The result of not acting responsibly and in an orderly fashion will be chaos.

2020 should see an increase in construction projects and in government projects related to infrastructure and commerce. If world leaders act in a manner that is beneficial to everyone, there can be a reversal of the recent trend of neglecting that which is important and serves the greater good. There may be a renewed interest and participation in farming, both on a large scale and in an increased interest in home gardens. The 4 Universal Year is a good year for farming. Perhaps will we see a turn-around in the ongoing crisis that is wreaking havoc on many portions of the agriculture and dairy farming segments of society. A portion of this interest will emanate from a greater desire by people to exercise thrift and economy in their personal lives. The FOUR vibration is also beneficial for the sectors concerning manufacturing and education. Another positive aspect of a FOUR Universal year is a greater desire toward tact and cooperation between people; citizenry and their governments; and, between countries on a global scale. There may be a challenge to traditions and recently accepted modes of behavior which can have great potential to re-establish the bond between governments and their citizens on a more cooperative and equitable level.

While it is true that the American economy is doing well, it is not really doing well for everyone. Being as top-heavy as it currently is, we must be aware of the events of 1929, the end of the Roaring 20s (a 3 Universal Year) and be cautious that we do not experience a similar type of downturn brought about by the behavior of the very wealthy and governments that cater to them at the expense of the general population. Even if it isn't as dramatic, it could still create greater societal problems than we currently have. With that in mind, it is also a possibility that there may develop a shortage of liquidity in business, government, and on a personal level. This would be a direct result of the excesses of the “good times” and the failure of individuals, nations and corporate entities to realize the errors of their ways. We have seen this first-hand with corporations that benefited from great tax cuts taking the money saved and not turning around and using it to build business. Rather, they have taken that money and pocketed it. Great for the stockholders...not so great for the overall health of the economy. Just as Icarus flew too close to the sun and crashed back to earth, so may the economy find that it too “flew too high only to fall hard, back to reality”. Hard times may become a reality for many. If too many people feel as though they are increasingly being marginalized, we may see protests of a large scale. In many ways, this is the case in numerous countries around the world.

Special attention must be paid to the negative aspects of the FOUR vibration of 2020, as much of this will be determined by how current situations are handled by those in power. The negative 4 is the antithesis to form, function, organization and, discipline. 2020 may see a rise in violence and violent confrontations around the world in a broad spectrum of countries. This rise may be in the form of civil disobedience and/or wars. Accompanying these events may be the fall of governments as the level and intensity of protests grow increasingly more strident. How governments and power entities react to people raising their voices will have a great effect on the behavior of those people. Dissension, and a move away from conventional behavior(s) may be the result of people's dissatisfaction with their leaders. On the most extreme level, reactions by leaders and governments could range from crackdowns, police and/or military actions, and even martial law being established. The 4 represents restrictions, confinement, obstacles and prison. Societies may exercise a greater level of offensive behavior and dissension may be expressed. Were situations to escalate, people may be surprised at the level of reaction that is exercised on both sides. Other things to be mindful of are a continuation of the ongoing series of natural disasters that are plaguing every corner of the planet. Over the past years we have certainly seen an ever-increasing number of events that seem to be growing in number and intensity on a weekly basis.

As with all vibrations in Numerology (and all situations in life), choices must be made on an individual and collective level. The negative aspects of 2020 should be impetus enough for people to work towards making this a better world in which to live. The world is changing. As can be seen by the events and situations yearly since 2008 (a ONE Universal year), nothing is immune to changes and transformations. You, the individual, must work toward bettering your personal existence and by doing that, you can help to change the collective. Be aware of your behavior, beliefs, and mind-set and pay attention to that which is going on in the world around you. Take part in making your voice heard in creating fairness and equity for all. It is imperative that we hold our leaders accountable and, failing that, they should be removed from office.

Happy New Year!

Chris Christie - A Numerology Profile

CHRIS CHRISTIE - A Numerology Profile

The purpose of this essay is not political in nature. Rather, it is a look at Chris Christie by the numbers, which in this case is through the use of Numerology, the ancient esoteric science of number interpretation. This is a presentation of his chart. The reader can draw their own conclusions.

Christopher James Christie, born 9/6/1962 has many characteristics that make him a very good and powerful leader. If properly exercised, Christie's chart indicates that he is capable of doing much in the way of executive leadership and decision-making. He is the type of individual who would naturally gravitate towards positions of leadership and his 'path in life' (In this case, the number is 24/6, a number derived from his date of birth) is one of being of service to others. This number also imbues him with a magnetic personality coupled with strong powers of suggestion over other people. He is able to easily attract to himself the material comforts and positive relationships that one could desire. This number is also conducive to attracting and creating situations in which people of influence, power and authority are ready and willing to help him succeed. Any help that Christie receives goes a long way toward promoting his successes. This Life Path number is also conducive for a strong and loving family life that is capable also, of bringing abundance to the individual. If properly exercised, this number creates a strong desire for truth and justice and places him in a position in which others recognize his sincerity, thus gaining their respect.

On the negative side of the 24/6 Life Path, Christie can be jealous, unfaithful and domineering to the very people from whom he is looking for respect. The energy of the 6 can also make him very stubborn and opinionated as well as being vengeful when crossed. Coupled with the very strong 8 energy that is part of the Numerology of Christie's name, this is not a person whom one would wish to be on the bad side as he can quite easily get angry and in the worst case scenario, very vindictive.

In looking at the Numerology of Chris Christie's name, again, his leadership and executive qualities are quite prominent. He has incredible strength of character and a great ability to understand and solve problems. He has a 13/4 Soul Urge (a number derived from the vowels in his name) and this is a number that brings about 'life & death' situations on a regular basis. In this case, 'life & death' are more symbolic in the events of life as opposed to a physical death. In a nutshell, the 13/4 indicates a great potential for grand attainment and equally great potential for complete destruction. In many ways, this is an 'all or nothing' number and great discretion and thought must be used in all decisions and actions. The 13/4 also brings with it an element of change, and that change may be ever present and ongoing. This is a vibration of constant movement and change with little time allowed for reflection or contemplation. In other words, there will always be something that needs tending. This number bestows Christie with a strong understanding of life and a philosophy grounded in his own personal truths. He has an almost unlimited creative power and an ability to create something positive out of what others may perceive as a lost cause. Using his creativity, organizational abilities and hard work in a positive fashion can create profit and successes where none existed before. Change and transformation are both strong aspects of the 13/4 vibration.

As with all numbers, the 13/4 has a negative side. Overindulgence in unsavory relationships and destructive actions can cause great harm his own life and, in the lives of those who surround him. This can take the form of a complete and total destruction of previously stated goals and ideas. Anger and having a bad temper, coupled with irrational and rash behavior will very much destroy the very thing that he is attempting to build. The underlying 4 of the 13/4 also can indicate very strong control issues. With the 4 in this position, as well as in the Personality/image position and with one four in the spelling of his name, these control issues can be a driving force in how Christie conducts himself and interacts with those who work with, and for him. In many ways, Christie could be considered a 'control freak' who is intimately involved in all that goes on in his world.

Chris Christie has a 22/4 Personality/Image number. This number is calculated using the consonants in his name. This is another facet of his chart that shows his ability to gain great wealth, power and influence in his life. He has potential for greatness and an ability to attract and influence those in his environment. This number provides him with a level of originality and creativity that allows him to solve problems that others believe are beyond being solved. He is a 'big thinker' who sees the big picture and comes up with big solutions. He is a hard worker who (if exercising the number in a positive fashion) is honest and ethical. He is a master director yet he must be quite aware of any tendencies he may have in the exploitation of people and avoid such tendencies at all cost. Too strong a desire for power and control can foster a ruthlessness and disregard for others and will most definitely backfire.

As with all Master Numbers (of which the 22 is one), the caution is to direct all efforts and energy outward for the good of all. Becoming too self-directed and selfish will also lead to problems and obstacles.

Christie's Expression (the number derived from the total of all the letters in his name) is an 8. In Numerology, the 8 is the executive leader who takes on the problems and issues confronting others and works diligently to correct these conditions. It is a number of materialism, business, power and authority and it is important that the number is exercised in a non-negative way for as much as it can bring power and success to an individual, it can also create great problems through its negative manifestation. He can be an inspired, magnetic and original leader who through strong effort and force of will, accomplish much in his lifetime. Diplomacy, persistence and courage are other strong characteristics of this number. With three eights in the spelling of his name, his executive abilities and strengths are even more magnified. Having eight letters on the Physical plane (in the spelling of his name) makes him very much, a natural executive who is very ambitious for power and position. This is a person who likes to accomplish big things and bask in the recognition of his accomplishments. In his personal life, Christie takes great pride in his home and family although his marriage may be based more in a need for security and what it can help him accomplish rather than love.

The most negative of the 8 is the master criminal or, one whose goal is total control and an accumulation of as much wealth and power as possible. If Christie exercises the negative aspects of the 8, he will have quite a temper and is someone to be feared. His anger, and ability to control it, can have quite a detrimental effect on his pursuits and relationships. The negative 8 is a bully, domineering, selfish and (once again) ruthless. This is a person who can quite easily scheme to attain advancement and that which he goes after. Upheaval is a result of such behavior and he must be prepared to face the consequences of his words and actions, although he may very well believe that he can persevere through bluster and threats. For the 8 there is very little in the way of halfway. This is an all or nothing individual. It would behoove Christie to take absolute responsibility for all his actions and handle the consequences accordingly.

Chris Christie's chart also shows a 3 Challenge (derived from the birth date) in the first two positions. The Challenges are the issues in life and the obstacles to wholeness in becoming fully self-actualized. This would show that in his early years, he suffered from issues of self-esteem and self-expression. Coupled with the very strong 8 energy in his chart, he may have developed a bully personality to overcome his own feelings of discomfort or inadequacy.

On his birthday in 2012, Christie entered his 21/3 Personal Year. This vibration is in play until his birthday in 2014. On the positive side, this is a year in which he should express himself fully and use his creative abilities to solve problems and create solutions. This is also a year during which the old order changes and a new, perhaps very different order, manifests. This should be a year of increased travel and interaction with new and varied people. The caution in a 3 Year is always be aware of a third-party interference in your affairs. It is imperative that he pays attention to those in his circle (or outside of it) who create situations that may become problematic. It is very important that Christie maintains an emotional balance in all he does. Problems that arise must be handled and it would be prudent for him to retain legal counsel to assist him in all matters as material loss is a real possibility. He also has a 20/2 Essence (derived by the spelling of his name) and this shows this year to be a transitional year for him in the realm of relationships and interactions with others. There may be a great many lessons to be learned for Christie throughout the year.

In conclusion, Chris Christie has all the traits and characteristics needed to be an effective leader who can foster change for his constituents. He is capable of accomplishing great things and can go quite far in life as long as he pays attention to the details and does not allow his very negative side to become the dominant force. The negative side, and manifestation of the energies of his chart can very much be his downfall. His need to control, his temper and his vindictiveness coupled with a ruthless attitude, may very well spell disaster for him on a monumental scale. Again, I make no claim as to his innocence or guilt in anything in which he is involved. I offer this analysis so that you, the reader, can make a more informed and insightful decision for yourself

NUMEROLOGY and EDUCATION-Can It Be Beneficial?

Numerology in Education – Can It Be Beneficial?

One of very first things I recognized when I was initially introduced to Numerology in 1984, was the powerful accuracy of this ancient esoteric science. I was deeply impressed by the depth and insights that could be provided by an accurate numerological profile. As I pursued my study and use of this modality, I came to realize that this relatively unknown science could be of great benefit in many facets of everyday life. Whether being used for greater self-understanding, greater understanding of those in our lives, or better understanding of our inter-personal relationships, Numerology has something to offer in a simple and easy-to- understand fashion. Something that can go a long way towards helping people in their everyday lives. More importantly (and this is something I have been advocating for many years), Numerology could become a powerful tool in the educational system.

I have been incredibly fortunate to have worked with thousands of clients throughout the years and it is gratifying to watch someone gain the understanding and acceptance of themselves through the use of Numerology. One of the goals of my work has always been to assist in an individual's growth. Numerology can pinpoint talents, abilities, strengths, weaknesses, lessons and challenges and it is the combination of these facets that collectively creates the understanding, acceptance, and ultimately, the taking of responsibility by the individual. One of the other goals of my work is to introduce Numerology into the mainstream in such a way that it does not lose its integrity. In the world of education, this could be invaluable. Imagine if the schools to which we send our children, were also able to pinpoint these attributes in the students and then work accordingly to better understand, and by extension, educate them more effectively.

I have always found it ironic that schools embrace the teachings of Pythagoras (generally considered to be the 'father of Numerology') through mathematics (who doesn't remember learning the Pythagorean theory in geometry?), music and in many ways, the structure of school, yet they totally discount his work with numbers in the form of Numerology. And, in my opinion, they are missing out on a golden opportunity to better understand and help their students. It is my understanding that the Myers/Briggs test is often used to evaluate students. While that is good in that it provides a personality type and some level of insight into who they are, Numerology, on the other hand, not only provides the type, it can also explain the 'whys' of behavior. And, once one understands the 'why', they can work more effectively in teaching and helping. Throughout the years, I have had numerous occasions in which I was able to inform a parent of the potential of what is considered ADD/ADHD behavior in their child. I have gone so far as to tell them to expect to hear from their child's school that their child has one of these 'conditions'. This statement was always confirmed as having already happened. I can see the ADD behavior in a preponderance of 5 energy in a child. Too much 5 energy will create an extremely curious, restless, and easily bored child. This is a child with a quick mind who picks things up quickly. Considering that a lesson is begun on Monday and finished on Friday, what does one expect of a child who 'gets it' in the first couple of days? The child will begin to drift and look for other things to occupy his mind, and many times this can lead to the child becoming a distraction as he attempts to amuse himself. In my opinion, rather than punishing this child, or labeling him or her and then prescribing medication, might not that child be better served through engaging in a curriculum that satiates his curiosity? Might not that child be better served if attention were paid to his or her particular interests and desires? I feel that all too often, the easy path of medicating and isolating these children is detrimental in a way that needn't be. Through the use of Numerology, this child could be properly identified and treated accordingly. The active and curious child could be provided activities and studies that keep him engaged and interested in his education.

In other instances, I have identified the person who comes out of an alcoholic or addictive family environment (this can be accomplished through the Challenge portion of Numerology). In the case of the addiction scenario, the 7 Challenge is the indicator of not only coming from that home life, it can also be a strong indicator of the possibility of that child falling into addictive behavior. It is rare that the child of an alcoholic begins to act up until they reach their teen years, at which point it might be difficult to overcome the behavioral issues. Just imagine if little Johnny could be identified as having an extremely high probability of coming from the addictive home. Efforts could then be taken immediately upon his entering the educational system to circumvent and overcome the impending behavior. Other conditions that can be identified through the Challenge numbers are: trouble with authority (1); impatience and lack of tolerance or sensitivity to others (2); issues of self-expression or self-esteem (3); control issues and the possibility of a physical reaction towards others (4); sexual abuse/molestation or a tendency towards overindulging in pleasures of the senses (5); coming from a broken home or a home in which other forms of abuse take place, e.g. verbal, physical, emotional, etc (6); or, a home in which anger and rage are a strong part of they dynamic (8). With recognition of these conditions as soon as possible, then educators and school counselors (as well as parents) could more effectively work with students with the goal being one of the ability to assist in overcoming these conditions in a way that creates long-term benefits to the child.

There are other portions of a numerological profile that can also assist in the realm of teaching a child. Strong talents and abilities can be emphasized and encouraged. Weaknesses in areas of characteristics and personality could be strengthened because focus could be placed upon these particular areas with the goal of improvement. The creative child could be encouraged to use their creativity. The curious child could be encouraged to use his curiosity in a positive manner. The deep-thinker could be encouraged to use his intellect to further his education in different facets of their schooling. The bully could be taught to be compassionate, tolerant and sensitive to others. The aggressive child could be taught to channel that aggressiveness into something positive such as athletics. The list of potential positives that can be gained is extensive and the benefits to the child and to society as a whole, are numerous.

I realize that our current educational system has many problems, none of which can be easily solved. Yet, if molding young children into productive and active members of society is an ultimate goal, then anything that can assist in that pursuit should be given consideration. I strongly advocate for Numerology to be given a long and detailed look as a one way to accomplish those goals. If you doubt the veracity of my claim, I encourage you to see for yourself, either through a private session with me, or by scheduling me to come speak to your group or organization about Numerology. The proof is in the demonstration!

You know your name(s)...look up your numbers!

Let your numbers be your guide.

The Numerology of Trayvon Martin & George Zimmerman

GEORGE ZIMMERMAN: WHO IS HE? THE STORY BEHIND THE PERSON

Recently, the news has been filled with stories about the tragic shooting of Trayvon Martin by George Zimmerman, in Sanford FL. Much has been written and talked about regarding the events leading up to, and culminating in Martin's death. The trial of Zimmerman ended in an acquittal. As a Numerologist, I am interested in George Michael Zimmerman, the person. What makes him tick? Could he be capable of killing someone? What might drive him to act in such an aggressive fashion? Is he capable of being an individual driven by fear/hate/racism and by his own idea of what is right or wrong? This profile of him will provide insight into what makes George Zimmerman tick and what may have been behind his actions on that fateful night.

In a numerological profile, I put emphasis on the Challenges
(the issues in life as determined by the Life Path) and the Karmic Lessons (determined by the numbers that are missing in the spelling of one's name). The combination of these aspects of the chart go a long way in showing the areas of life in which an individual will have difficulties that result in aberrant or 'wrong' behavior. Coupled with the information provided through the rest of the chart, one can get a clear picture of what makes someone tick and how they may behave in various situations.

George Michael Zimmerman, born on 10/5/1983 has a 19/1 Soul Urge; a 21/3 Personality/Image; a 13/4 Expression and a 9 Life Path. His sub-Challenges are 4, 2, and 2 with a Lifetime Challenge of 2. Of his Major Numbers the 19/1 and the 13/4 are Karmic Numbers indicating that upon entering this plane he brought forth with him major lessons and energies and many, dramatic choices during the course of this lifetime.

While the 19/1 Soul Urge indicates leadership talents that could be useful it also shows that in all situations the All (9) must be considered in the doing of the One (1).  As with all numbers, 19/1 has both positive and negative aspects. The positive aspects show great talent in heading up projects and a strong ability to take mistakes, learn from them, and turn them into something beneficial. It certainly can  attract love and money resulting in a good marriage, a contented home life, material success as well as honor and esteem. The 19/1 can create many twists and turns in life which may result in starting over on many occasions. One of the important lessons of this number is the mastering of emotions, as failing to do so will result in emotional upheavals and uncontrolled impulses. This, in turn, can lead to material loss and failures. A truly negative 19/1 may lead a double life, creating a positive image on one hand while leading a life of deceit and a lack of truth. This path will lead to what could be construed as a spiritual fall as well as a testing of one's courage. Losses come about through unseen dangers and treachery. It is possible that out of this tragedy could come growth and healing that can lead to being an influence in the relief of suffering. Only time will tell if Zimmerman will learn the big lesson from this tragedy and move forward to enlighten himself and others.

21/3 is a fortuitous number that can bring about good fortune and success. This is an expressive and creative energy that calls for an orderly progression of things to assure  success. Acting without thinking will bring about problems that can not only impact oneself, they will impact others. Negatively the same tenacity that can result in success will also assure loss as situations with others can remove the things that provide a sense of security. The negative 21/3 is also very stubborn and refuses to learn the lessons that life offers. Once again, Zimmerman can take this situation and turn it into something that benefits others (and by extension, himself) as the number represents the cosmic consciousness.

The 13/4 Expression number in Zimmerman's chart is one of the most karmic of all the Karmic Numbers. With its representation of 'death', the 13/4 shows that the lifetime can be a continuing series of lives and deaths through a never-ending progression of changes. This number is very much an 'all or nothing' vibration with every situation being of great importance and dramatic cause and effect.
Those with the 13/4 must learn to ride the peaks and valleys of life and be willing to embrace the changes that come along. Just as things seem to settle down, something else comes along that requires attention and focus. Because of this condition, a secure home and secure relationships are necessary as a grounding device. Although not a leader, per se, the 13/4 will carry on for others. This could lead to a heightened sense of self-importance as Zimmerman
would see himself as the person who can take care of what he perceives to be 'problems'. Coupled with his 9 Life Path, George has a heightened sense of idealism and he may see many things as a 'cause' to which he must devote time and energy.

The negative side of the 13/4 carries with it a bad temper that leads to rash actions that can harm others. This leads to changes that are destructive and detrimental to his own life and possibly the lives of those around him. In this condition of the 13/4, one is spiritually asleep and unaware of the bigger picture and the part that each of us plays in creating a whole that is beneficial to everyone.

As with the previous numbers, opportunities abound for Zimmerman to manifest changes that will improve his life and the lives of others. If he were to become an advocate for tolerance and acceptance, he could go a long way towards healing the wounds created by his actions.

The major lesson of the 9 Life Path is to learn one's humanitarian purpose and share it. 9, with its great compassion, tolerance and altruistic take on life, can always be a force for good, often sacrificing itself for the benefit of the greater collective. It is the 9 that can lead the way by offering up an example of what a good life can do and how it can be beneficial. The caution with the 9 is always to be aware of a tendency to be too idealistic without giving any thought to how one can affect others by forcing one 's ideals on those people. This is also a vibration that can lead to great disappointment because of an unwillingness, or inability to conceive of a perspective other than the one that is held. Negatively, the 9 can be overly emotional, frustrated, selfish, unfulfilled, burdened and easily disappointed. If Zimmerman feels these conditions (and I fell strongly that he does) it would cause him to act irrationally without much thought given to the consequences of his actions. He lacks the understanding of others' motives and could easily be immoral, vulgar and a liar.

In looking at the Challenges and Karmic Lessons in George Zimmerman's chart, one can begin to truly understand in what areas he would have the most difficulties and, by extension, how these issues could manifest themselves in his day-to-day life.

George has no 2s in the spelling of his name. The Lesson here is to learn patience with, and tolerance of, others. There is a lack of consideration for others and the qualities of tact and co-operation may be missing. Coupled with the fact that he only has 1-1 in the spelling of his name (
showing a lessened sense of self), he may look for ways to assert himself to make himself feel better without giving a thought to how his actions may affect others. What truly exacerbates these conditions is the 2nd and 3rd Sub-Challenges of 2 and a Lifetime Challenge of 2. Zimmerman's biggest challenge in life is to learn to be patient, tolerant of others and sensitive to others. With the representation of the 2 in the realm of partnerships and relationships, he would constantly be tested in how he interacts with others. The Universe, in its infinite wisdom, would continually put him in situations in which he would have to overcome his Challenge and become a loving and understanding person.

George also has 2-8s in the spelling of his name and the 8 can add the element of a temper, anger and rage to an individual.  Again, coupled with the lack of 2s and the below average number of 1s, he would conceivably overcompensate by projecting (falsely) a sense of power and control. Because Zimmerman has a 4 Challenge in the 1st position (
covering the time period up to the age of 27 and beyond if the Challenge has not been met and overcome), control issues would be a major consequence. This would also create issues
around self-control. The 1st position 4 Challenge also indicates that
he came out of a home that was very disciplined and controlled, quite possibly leading to an attitude of rebellion and a search for ways in which he could exercise his own control over others. Add to the 4 Challenge the fact that there are 3-4s in the spelling of his name and there is a recipe for potential disaster. The average number of 4s in the average name is 1-2. Having 3-4s would add to the controlling nature of the individual while also making the person somewhat anal retentive with a strong desire to create and maintain order and discipline in his life. Anything that may upset that scenario could easily trigger a response that in many instances would be physical. Coupled with the 2-8s in his chart, it is easy to see that George might react in a physical fashion to anything that upsets him, or anything that triggers a visceral response in line with his preconceived ideas of things.

Other conditions that reside in Zimmerman's chart and that could add to a very, negative persona are the 8 Physical letters, 4 Mental letters, 3 Emotional letters and 6 Intuitive letters in the spelling of his name.  Separately, these conditions may be easily handled and directed in a positive fashion. Combined, they could spell problems and potential disaster. The 8 Physical letters make him ambitious for power (
his desire to be a policeman and his relegation to being a neighborhood watch person). The 4 Mental letters make him very determined and quite willing to pursue that which he feels he should be doing. 3 Emotional letters indicate that he is a person that wants admiration and who would act impulsively. Finally, the 6 Intuitive letters show that in his mind he sees himself doing 'big' things and that he acts from a place of delusions of grandeur.

In summary, I believe, based upon my almost three decades of working with Numerology, that George Zimmerman was not only capable of killing Trayvon Martin, in all probability he could justify it in his own mind. This, in combination with the 'stand your ground' laws in Florida, provided a toxic stew of ingredients that led to the death of a young man. Yet, in its way, this event, with George Zimmerman at the heart of it, could lead to a re-examination of these laws and more deeply, the racial divide that still exists in 21st Century America. Perhaps as an outcome of all of this, Zimmerman will (unwittingly) be a catalyst for change, fulfilling part of the requirements for who he is.

We must all examine our parts in this ever-changing world in which we live and do our best to improve ourselves individually and by extension, improve the greater good for all.

Trayvon Martin: Victim, Aggressor, or Fulfilling His Destiny?

The tragic event that took place in Sanford FL on February 26, 2012 resulted in the death of a teenager, the arrest of a neighborhood watchman, and a resultant trial ending in the acquittal of George Zimmerman. On the surface, this could have just been a random occurrence, emboldened by a bizarre law (stand your ground) and what may, or may not have been a situation that was racially charged and motivated.

What does Numerology tell us about Trayvon Martin? Was he solely a victim? Could he have been the instigator of actions that resulted in his death? And, more deeply, what do the numbers show about this tragic event?

Trayvon Benjamin Martin was born on February 5, 1995 and had just celebrated his 17th birthday, three weeks before he lost his life. He had a 12/3 Soul Urge; a 12/3 Personality/Image; a 15/6 Expression; and a 13/4 Life Path. His sub-Challenges are a 3 in the 1st position; a 1 in the 2nd position; a 2 in the 3rd position; and a 4 Lifetime Challenge.
The 13/4 Life Path is the same number as George Zimmerman's 13/4 Expression.

Trayvon's chart shows him to be a sociable, charming young man who had a lot going for himself. He was not without his issues (as we all are) and there are similarities between his chart and the chart of George Zimmerman that could have certainly contributed to the events of that night. Once again, in another of  what seems to be a series of ongoing tragedies involving firearms, there are karmic lessons at play indicating  that this event has implications and lessons for the whole, and not just for those involved. The 12/3 in two positions indicate that Trayvon had great poise and he may have been viewed as somewhat odd by those who knew him, as he might have projected great inner strength. This was coupled with a tolerance for those people, lifestyles and beliefs that were different than his. On a very deep level, he understood that life is just an illusion and that one's life was a result of their beliefs. He also understood the transitory nature of life and held a place of peace within himself. In the deepest core of his being, he was not attached to worldly matters.
Perhaps the most important aspect of the 12/3 energy is that one may lead a life of voluntary sacrifice that includes difficulties, trials and tribulations yet nothing can rattle a deep serenity. As a numerologist, I interpret this to mean that part of the purpose of Trayvon's being was to be a catalyst or instrument of awareness and change.

The 15/6 Expression shows that Trayvon had a personal magnetism and a talent for earning  or receiving money and gifts from others. Yet, he also knew that he must work for that which he desired. This energy also would have made him strong-willed and diligent and the possessing of a willingness to go after, and obtain that which he wanted. The 6 energy can be somewhat materialistic and I would say that there may have been a inner conflict regarding materialism for the 12/3 energy in his chart, being cognizant of the transitory illusion of life , is not necessarily concerned with the material aspects of living. One of the negative aspects of the 15/6 may be a lack of emotional control resulting in a violent reaction to their 'lot in life'. A confrontation could easily result in him lashing out, as he might perceive the confrontation to be a confirmation of who, and what he is and that would be uncomfortable for him.

The 13/4 Life Path number in Martin's chart is one of the most karmic of all the Karmic Numbers. With its representation of 'death', the 13/4 shows that the lifetime can be a continuing series of 'lives and deaths' through a never-ending progression of changes. Martin's 13/4 Life Path is the same number as Zimmerman's 13/4 Expression. In other words, the path of Trayvon's life was energetically the same as the energy of who Zimmerman must be in this lifetime. The negative side of the 13/4 carries with it a bad temper that leads to rash actions that can harm others. This leads to changes that are destructive and detrimental to his own life and possibly the lives of those around him. In this condition of the 13/4, one is spiritually asleep and unaware of the bigger picture, and the part that each of us plays in creating a whole that is beneficial to everyone.
Couple that with the fact that the day of the incident that propelled both these people into the public spotlight (2/26/2102) was a 13/4 Personal  Day (all or nothing) or Trayvon, on a 15/6 Universal Day, and I will infer that this was a day during which both parties were to meet their destiny in what was immediately a tragedy, yet in the long run could be a catalyst for a new discussion in this country about guns and the issue of 'stand your ground' laws.

There are other points of similarity in the charts of Trayvon and George. Zimmerman has a 4 1st Challenge (
under which he would have still felt the influence as the issue will remain if not learned and overcome), and Trayvon's Lifetime Challenge  was a 4. With its representation of 'control issues', this could have certainly contributed to the volatility of the situation as each of them would have looked to be the dominant force in what happened. Both individuals have 3-4s in the spelling of their names and this would indicate a potential physical reaction to anger and/or confrontation. On the Physical Plane, both have eight letters, showing that both men were ambitious for power and may exert said desire to make their case. Martin and Zimmerman both have four letters on the Mental Plane making both of them very determined in that in which they are engaged. (Obviously, these two conditions could easily create a volatile situation).

Trayvon's 1st Challenge was a 3 indicating that he might have been struggling to overcome some self-esteem issues and feel comfortable with himself. In conjunction with having no 3s in the spelling of his name, he may have had a difficult time expressing himself. Another contributing factor could be Trayvon's 1 Challenge
in the 2nd position. A 1 Challenge is an indication of an individual having a difficult time with authority and being told what to do. The natural inclination of the person with a 1 Challenge is to confront authority. If Trayvon considered Zimmerman to be an authority figure, he might have naturally taken on that authority (
and, because Zimmerman wasn't a true 'authority' figure, he may have been disregarded by Trayvon, triggering an angry reaction of '...how dare you, do you know who I am?'). While Trayvon may not necessarily have had a temper, Zimmerman does, and my sense is that Trayvon's initial reaction might not have been borne out of anger as much as other more deep-seated emotional issues (represented by the 3 Challenge and the 1 Challenge). Trayvon had a sensitivity for others that Zimmerman did not (evidenced by the lack of 2s in the spelling of his George's name and his 2 Challenge in 3 positions).

Taken all together, this was a mix of energies that had great potential for going wrong, and sadly, they did. Trayvon's Personal Day on February 26, 2012 was a 20/2 showing that for him, this was a transformational day regarding his abilities to get along with others. The 20/2 indicates that a sudden event would certainly bring on a major decision as to how one is going to proceed thus establishing a major turning point in one's life. Perhaps if events did not escalate so quickly, decisions could have been made that would have save a life, and prevented another from being turned upside down.

The purpose of this essay is not to assess guilt or innocence for either party, although in many ways, they were both guilty of something. In looking at the bigger,  esoteric picture, this event may have very well been something to which both parties 'agreed' at some point in time before physical incarnation. In the way of the spirit, both were fulfilling an obligation to each other, and to the macro level of human existence. As I stated earlier, this may have been more to bring to the attention of all, the strange ways in which we behave towards one another, totally forsaking humanity and compassion for the sake of ideals and agendas. Obviously, America is a country that still struggles with issues of race and, we are a country that has a violent streak that continues unabated. If we all step back a bit and look at the big picture, we may realize that it is time to have the conversations that are necessary regarding the fact that we are all here together, and what affects one, affects all. In their own way, Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman thrust these issues onto center stage with Trayvon sacrificing his life for the cause. Will Zimmerman's life ever be the same? I think not, although there is opportunity for him to become a voice in bringing
people together. Can America, as a country, overcome its partisan divisions so that we make steps towards healing? Each of us as individuals can only do our part, yet it is the culmination of the acts of many that can affect the whole. What part will you take?

Blessings of Love & Light

AFTER DIVORCE...RE-CLAIMING YOURSELF!

AFTER DIVORCE...RE-CLAIMING YOURSELF

In a divorce, one thing a woman should insure she leaves the marriage with is her maiden, or birth name.

The majority of women who get married have had the experience of changing their name and taking their husband's name as part of the marriage ceremony. This custom dates back hundreds, and perhaps thousands of years, to a time when a man giving his bride his name was his way of 'laying claim of ownership' to the woman. In essence, telling the villagers that the woman now 'belonged' to him. In a way, the wife would become chattel, just as the man's property, wagons, animals and more were.

What was never given consideration was the vibrational effect a name change would have on those whose names were changed. Even though Numerology has been around since at least 500 BC, and in all probability, much further back in time, the use of it was a tool employed by the scholars, philosophers and religious and political leaders. It did not 'trickle down' to the commoners. Had it been used by the common man, perhaps the tradition of changing a woman's name upon marriage would have never taken root.

As a Numerologist, I have had a great many opportunities to work with many women over the years, in fact, the majority of my clients are female. It has been my experience that a name change creates a vibrational and energetic change in the individual and most often, these changes have created difficulties for that person. Allow me to explain: In my work, I strongly believe that it is your soul (or whatever other name you wish to use for that portion of your being) that chooses your name for you. Once it decides on the human entity it will inhabit, it chooses the name, birth date and family of origin that will best serve the entity for it knows that within the context of the name and birth date is everything about that individual and its life. Within the spelling of the name is the personality, strengths and weaknesses, talents and abilities and all the nuances that make you...YOU! The spelling of the name also contains a yearly breakdown of the conditions and circumstances which will demand attention and shape the efforts of the individual. The spelling of the name also indicates the turning points and the 'why' of things through the opportunities chosen to be met upon entering this plane. The birth date creates the field of experience or environment in which you get to exercise who you are. This energy and these conditions NEVER GO AWAY! When you change your name, you create a 'Halloween' effect, in essence, you are now playing the role of someone else. When you wear a costume, people see the outer appearance and may never know who is truly behind the mask. This is what happens with a name change, others are not seeing the real you they are seeing the person you are 'playing' based upon your new name. Additionally, you are not exactly seeing yourself. You may feel as though something is not quite right and may be unable to put your finger on the exact cause of that feeling. What is happening is you are wearing a costume that may not necessarily fit, the equivalent of wearing a piece of clothing that is not the correct size. Just as in 'dressing up', underneath the costume remains YOU! What is created through the name change is a dynamic of intra-personal stress, i.e, one set of numbers masking another and creating an inner conflict. It is for this reason that the woman experiences (either subtly or dramatically) a shift within herself. (For example, if someone has a major FIVE energy, they would be adventurous, curious, easily bored, experiential, and perhaps somewhat bohemian in nature. If, through a name change, that major energy were to become a FOUR, the FOUR would create a more controlled, discipline and somewhat restrained or restrictive energy, thereby stifling and inhibiting the natural tendencies of the FIVE).

Since many women get married before they truly know, understand, and become grounded in themselves, these shifts and changes can create major difficulties for the woman. If a woman gets married before the age of 27-35, she has not yet even completed her 1st Cycle. In Numerology everyone has three major cycles during the course of their life. The first cycle is determined by the number of your month of birth; the second cycle is determined by the day of birth; and, the third cycle is determined by the year of birth. The end of the first cycle delineates that point in life where an individual truly begins to grow up and becomes the person they are meant to be (In astrology, the 1st Saturn return coincides with the end of the first Numerology cycle). A name change can truly exacerbate the conditions encountered during this phase of life.

The woman who marries multiple times and continually takes on a new name runs great risk of creating even more problems and drama for herself. The continual 'layering' of vibrations can create quite an identity crisis and lead to a situation where she quite honestly '...doesn't know who she is!'

Another thing that must be given consideration is an understanding that your last name, the surname of the family of origin, contains the karma of that particular family. When 'you chose' that family and your name and birth date, you did so because you were prepared to do so and you contained the ability to handle that karma, as well as a need to experience it. When you marry a man and take his last name, you have then taken on the karma of his surname, something of which you have no knowledge and perhaps, even less ability to handle.

Taking all of this into account, name changes should be given extreme thought and consideration. It is my strong belief that if you are getting married you should keep your maiden name and if you are getting a divorce, make taking back your maiden name a part of the settlement (name changes after the fact can be an incredible hassle). You will in essence be re-claiming yourself and you will be grateful that you did. (Many women have told me they kept their married name because of children and I say that it is the 21st Century and families that have different last names for different members no longer carry the stigma they did forty or fifty years ago). Through this one simple step of taking back your name will you allow yourself to re-align yourself with who you truly are, that entity you chose to be before you were born. Re-claiming your name will go a long way towards clearing away the problems, difficulties and stress which were brought about when you first change your name. You can become a fully empowered woman, ready to truly live your life. During my career as a Numerologist, I have had a great many women confirm to me that they felt better about themselves when they took the step to re-claim their birth name. They say that they feel different and more empowered and that their lives take a turn in a new and better direction.
